In the 1990s, Sloan invented the paint so that she could work on all kinds of surfaces – metal, glass, wood, brick, concrete and more.nChalk Paint™ shouldn’t be confused with chalkboard paint, which is used widely for children’s rooms and baker’s kitchens. Chalk Paint™ derives its name because of its chalky finish. However, chalkboard paint creates a surface that is easy to write on with chalk and that can then be erased, if necessary.
